TURAN ENGİNOĞLU

1953 He was born in Tire. 1971-1973  He worked as a teacher of primary school. 1977 He graduated from Gazi University, Gazi Education Faculty, Fine Arts Education Department and was assigned to Trabzon Fine Arts Gallery as a director. He worked there for 3 years. 1987 He graduated with a Proficiency in Arts Degree. He has still been going on his carrier in the University of Dokuz Eylül, Education Faculty, and Fine Arts Education Dept. in İzmir / Turkey as an ass professor. 1980 He has been a member of United Association of Painters and Sculptors. He has also been going on his artistic works on his special studio. In is oil paintings, it has been seen his original work format. The artist has been seen in an expressionist and formalist searching with colorful paint choices and his original work format which includes beautiful passages from dark values to the light values and from thick paint applying to thinner paint applying. Streets and red roofs in his oil paints are almost application areas of his expressionist expression. The other aspect of the artist is his watercolor works of art. He has been one of the first members of Watercolor Painters Group and he has joined all the Group’s exhibitions between the years 1977-1980. In his big size watercolor paintings, subjects were usually depicted figures with technical perfection.
